Distinction Hotels Gift Vouchers can be redeemed at any of our participating Distinction or Discovery Hotels and restaurants New Zealand wide.*
To redeem your voucher please contact your preferred hotel or restaurant by phone or email to make a booking and quote your voucher number.

- Distinction Hotels Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-refundable and must be presented to reception cashier on arrival
- The full value of the gift voucher must be used within one stay/transaction. Any unused amount will be forfeited
- Gift voucher is subject to hotel availability
- All expenses over and above those detailed must be settled on departure
- A guarantee for incidentals will be required upon check-in
- Gift vouchers purchased on or after 12 March 2026 are valid for 3 years from date of purchase. Gift vouchers purchased prior to 12 March 2026 are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. This complies with the Fair Trading (Gift Card Expiry) Amendment Act 2024.
- *Please note that Restaurant Vouchers are currently not available for redemption at Countrytime Restaurant & Bar @Discovery Countrytime Hotel Omarama.
- High Tea Gift Vouchers can only currently be redeemed at Distinction Rotorua Hotel, Distinction Dunedin Hotel, Distinction Christchurch Hotel or Distinction Te Anau Hotel & Villas
- Please note that high tea availability may be temporarily suspended due to COVID restrictions or minimum number requirements. In which case high tea vouchers can instead be used for accommodation or restaurant purchases at any of our nationwide hotels
